MORE FLIGHT DISRUPTION: Israir Cancels Scheduled Flights Through March 31 Amid War

Mar 19, 2026·1 min read

Israir has canceled all regularly scheduled flights through March 31 due to ongoing security restrictions and limited operations at Ben Gurion Airport.

The cancellations come as a major setback for travelers ahead of Pesach, with demand far exceeding the limited number of available seats on the few flights still operating.

The airline clarified that the cancellations apply only to regular flights, while repatriation flights to and from Israel will continue under government guidelines.

Passengers affected by the cancellations will be offered either a full refund or a future credit voucher, though Israir warned it may not be able to accommodate all travelers due to the severe shortage of seats.

In addition, ticket sales for regular flights have been halted through April 30 unless the security situation improves.
