A new poll shows former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot rising to become Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leading challenger, with his Yashar party now the second-largest for the first time.
According to the survey, Eisenkot’s party climbs to 16 seats, continuing a steady rise in recent weeks, while Naftali Bennett drops to 15 seats after previously holding the top opposition spot.
Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid continues to collapse, falling to just 5 seats — its lowest showing to date.
Among other parties, Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu holds at 10 seats, while Yair Golan’s Democrats stand at 9.
The broader opposition bloc strengthens to 59 seats, inching closer to a majority, while the coalition weakens to 51 seats, with some parties slipping below the electoral threshold.
