IDF Captures Two Hezbollah Radwan Force Operatives in Southern Lebanon, Seizes Anti-Tank Missiles
JERUSALEM (VINnews) – Israel Defense Forces troops from the Givati Brigade captured two armed Hezbollah operatives from the group’s elite Radwan Force during ground operations in southern Lebanon over the weekend, the military announced.
The operatives were spotted by Givati soldiers as they prepared to launch anti-tank missiles at IDF forces and targets in Israel, according to the IDF. Shortly afterward, the pair surrendered to the troops.

Forces located weapons, including anti-tank missiles, and other military equipment alongside the captured operatives. Overnight, the IDF destroyed the building from which the Radwan fighters had been operating.
The two operatives were transferred to Israel and interrogated by the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 504, which specializes in human intelligence.
Interrogation revealed that the operatives had arrived in southern Lebanon from the Beqaa Valley region at the outset of the war involving Iran, the IDF said.

“This case once again proves that the Lebanese army failed and did not prevent the movement of terrorists and weapons south of the Litani River,” the military stated.
The captures highlight ongoing IDF efforts to dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure and counter threats from the Iran-backed group’s elite units in the border area amid escalated cross-border hostilities. No injuries to Israeli forces were reported in the incident.
