
Quebec Pilot Identified Among Those Killed in Air Canada Crash at Laguardia After Collision With Fire Truck

NEW YORK — A Quebec pilot has been identified as one of the two crew members killed in an Air Canada Flight 8646 crash at LaGuardia Airport, authorities said.
Antoine Forest, of Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, was identified by Quebec media as one of the pilots killed Sunday night after the aircraft collided with a fire truck that crossed into its path during landing, according to reports. The flight was traveling from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport when the incident occurred.
Forest was a first officer with Jazz Aviation, which operates regional flights for Air Canada, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was 30 years old.
The crash remains under investigation.
