Israeli Airstrikes Hit Hezbollah Command Centers in Beirut and Southern Lebanon
BEIRUT (VINnews) – The Israeli Air Force leveled a multi-story building and struck other structures in Beirut overnight, targeting what the Israeli military said were Hezbollah command centers, including one used by the group’s elite Radwan Force and another belonging to its intelligence division.
The Israeli Defense Forces said the strikes in the Lebanese capital were intelligence-based and hit several Hezbollah headquarters. Among them was a command center for the Radwan Force, the terror group’s special operations unit, and another for its intelligence operations, the IDF said.
In a separate overnight strike in the southern Lebanon town of at-Tiri, the Israeli military targeted a Hezbollah command center embedded within a studio of the group’s Al-Nour radio station. The headquarters was struck while Hezbollah operatives were active at the site, according to the IDF.
The strikes come amid ongoing escalation between Israel and Hezbollah, with the Israeli military saying it has conducted numerous operations against the Iran-backed group’s infrastructure in recent weeks. Hezbollah has not immediately commented on the latest attacks
