TEL AVIV, Israel (VINnews) — An Iranian missile strike hit a residential area of Tel Aviv early Tuesday, damaging multiple buildings and lightly injuring several people, Israeli emergency officials said.

Medics treated four people at the scene for minor injuries, none of whom required hospitalization, according to emergency responders. Authorities said most residents had taken shelter before the impact.

Images from the scene showed significant structural damage, including shattered facades, debris-strewn streets and a large crater where the missile struck. Officials said nearby residential buildings sustained heavy damage.

The strike was part of a broader wave of missiles launched from Iran overnight targeting multiple areas across Israel, triggering air raid sirens and sending residents into shelters.

Israeli officials said the attack followed a series of overnight airstrikes by Israeli forces targeting military and security sites in Tehran.

Emergency crews continued to assess damage in Tel Aviv as authorities warned the situation remained fluid.
