Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Hezbollah Rocket Attack on Northern Israel
JERUSALEM (VINnews) – A woman was killed and two others were injured after rockets fired from Lebanon struck northern Israel on Tuesday evening, according to emergency officials.
Israeli authorities said dozens of projectiles were launched toward northern communities, with at least one impact reported near a major junction in the Galilee region.
First responders from Magen David Adom treated a woman who was critically wounded at the scene but later pronounced her dead. Two others suffered minor injuries.
Emergency crews and security forces searched the area for additional casualties and damage following the attack.
The Israeli military attributed the attack to Hezbollah, which has carried out repeated rocket attacks amid heightened cross-border tensions.
Air raid sirens sounded across northern Israel, sending residents into shelters as authorities monitored for further incoming fire.
