Speaking with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Vance said Omar “definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America” and suggested administration officials were examining possible legal remedies and investigative steps.
He said he had discussed the matter with Miller to consider “what legal remedies” might be available and how such a case could be pursued.
“What are the legal remedies now that we know she’s committed immigration fraud?” Vance said during the interview, according to the discussion.
There was no immediate response from Omar’s office. No charges or public findings of immigration fraud against her have been announced by federal authorities.
