
WATCH: IDF Alpine Unit Takes Up Positions On South Lebanese Side Of Mt. Hermon
JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Fighters from the IDF’s Alpine Unit, operating under the “Mountains” Brigade (810), completed a targeted operation to thwart attempts by terrorist organizations to establish a presence along the Lebanon border area, according to an Arutz Sheva report.
As part of the operation, the forces operated in complex mountainous terrain, crossing by climbing through snow from the Syrian Hermon area to the Mount Dov region in southern Lebanon. Their mission was to scan the area, gather intelligence, and locate enemy terror infrastructure using the unique capabilities and tools of the specialized mountain commando unit.
