US, Israeli Forces Strike Over 11,000 Targets in Iran, Degrading Regime’s Military Capabilities

Mar 30, 2026·2 min read

WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) – U.S. and Israeli forces have conducted more than 11,000 strikes on Iranian targets since launching Operation Epic Fury on Feb. 28, significantly weakening Iran’s ability to project power in the region, according to U.S. Central Command.

Iran’s ballistic missile and drone attacks have dropped by roughly 90%, U.S. officials said. The Iranian Navy has also been largely neutralized, with more than 150 vessels destroyed, including 92% of its largest ships, rendering it combat ineffective with no operational presence in major regional waterways.

“Our military continues to obliterate Iran’s defense industrial base, with nearly 70% of their missile, drone, and naval production facilities and shipyards damaged or destroyed thus far, significantly reducing their ability to pose future threats in the region,” a CENTCOM briefing stated.

U.S. and Israeli joint forces have established air dominance over Iran, completing more than 11,000 successful combat flights, officials added. The campaign has targeted missile sites, naval assets, production facilities and other military infrastructure.

The strikes began amid escalating tensions, with the U.S. and Israel aiming to degrade Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile capabilities and support for proxy groups. Iranian retaliation has included missile and drone attacks on Israel and regional U.S. allies, though at a sharply reduced rate.

The conflict, now in its second month, has disrupted global oil supplies and raised concerns over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has signaled it is reviewing U.S. proposals to end the fighting through mediators, while the Trump administration has set deadlines for Tehran to agree to terms including reopening the strait and limiting its missile and nuclear activities.

No immediate comment was available from Iranian officials on the latest U.S. assessments. Casualty figures from the strikes were not detailed in the briefing.

The operations continue as diplomatic efforts, including potential talks hosted by Pakistan, remain ongoing. U.S. officials have indicated that further military action could follow if Iran does not comply with demands to curb its regional threats.
