Mar 31, 2026·2 min read

MIAMI (VINnews) — Eric Trump on Monday revealed initial plans for the proposed Donald J. Trump Presidential Library, describing it as a waterfront project in Miami that he said will honor his father’s legacy.

In a post on the social platform X, Eric Trump said the project has been in development for the past six months in coordination with the Trump Organization. He characterized the planned library as “a lasting testament” to Donald Trump, praising him as both a developer and president.

Eric Trump also shared what he described as previously unreleased images of the project, offering an early look at the design and scope of the proposed site.

Few additional details about the project — including funding, timeline or formal approvals — were immediately available.

Presidential libraries are typically overseen by the National Archives and Records Administration, though they are often funded and developed privately before being transferred to federal management.

It was not immediately clear whether the proposed Miami site has entered the formal planning or approval process.
