Mar 31, 2026·1 min read

TEL AVIV (VINnews) — An Iranian missile carrying a cluster-type warhead struck multiple locations in central Israel on Tuesday, triggering air raid sirens and causing damage across several cities, authorities said.

Impacts and shrapnel were reported in Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Tel Aviv and Givat Shmuel, according to emergency services.

Fires broke out at several sites following the strikes, including blazes involving vehicles and other property. Firefighters and rescue crews were deployed to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby residential buildings.

Israel’s emergency service, Magen David Adom, said several people were treated for minor injuries. Among them were individuals hurt by shrapnel and flying glass, including a woman and children in Bnei Brak.

Police urged residents to stay away from impact zones to allow emergency personnel and bomb disposal units to operate safely.

The attack comes amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran, with tensions escalating in recent weeks.
