Golani Brigade Soldiers Uncover Large Hezbollah Weapons Cache — Including RPGs, Ground-to-Ground Missiles and Launchers — Hidden Inside School in Southern Lebanon
AL- KHIYAM, LEBANON (VINnews)-IDF forces, including troops from the Golani Brigade and the 36th Division operating in southern Lebanon, uncovered significant Hezbollah weapons caches hidden in civilian buildings — specifically inside a school in the Al-Khiyam (Al-Khiyam) area.
During a targeted raid (involving Shayetet 13 naval commandos and ground forces), they found:
RPG rockets and anti-tank missiles
Ground-to-ground missiles and launchers
Mortar shells, grenades, small arms, mines, and explosive devices
Military gear, uniforms, and training materials linked to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force
Some of the weapons were found next to UNHCR (United Nations) markings, highlighting Hezbollah’s routine practice of using civilian sites like schools for military purposes and endangering local civilians by turning them into military infrastructure.
This is part of ongoing IDF operations to dismantle Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure, eliminate operatives, and expand the security zone in southern Lebanon following months of fighting.
Hezbollah systematically embeds its weapons in civilian areas as a form of human shielding.
