YWN regrets to inform you of the petirah of Eli Schepansky Z”L, an 18-year-old Lakewood bochur who was niftar early Sunday morning in a tragic car crash in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Eli Z”L, the son of R’ Moshe and Mrs. Leah Schepansky, had traveled with a friend to Philadelphia early that morning to perform a chesed for a mutual friend. On their way back, their vehicle collided with a truck. Eli Z”L was tragically killed, while the other bochur was seriously injured.

The Niftar is a great-grandchild of the late Mirrer Rosh Yeshiva, Hagaon HaRav Shmuel Berenbaum Zt’L.
