WASHINGTON (VINnews) — President Donald Trump on Thursday called on Hezbollah to act with restraint, urging an end to violence.
In a social media post, Trump said he hoped the group would “act nicely and well” during what he described as an important period, adding that it could be a “great moment” if it does.
He also called for peace, writing that there should be “no more killing.”
The statement comes amid ongoing tensions in the region. Hezbollah has not immediately responded.
