Authorities say the man accused of carrying out the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner sent a lengthy and disturbing message to family members shortly before the incident.
Cole Tomas Allen transmitted a 1,052-word manifesto roughly 10 minutes before the attack. The message, obtained by the NY Post, was signed Cole “coldForce” “Friendly Federal Assassin” Allen and included what he described as “rules of engagement” for the shooting, along with a claim that he believed it was his righteous duty to target administration officials.
