NEW YORK (VINnews) – A Brooklyn man has been charged after authorities said three Jewish men were assaulted in Williamsburg in what police are investigating as a possible antisemitic attack.

Investigators said Andrzej Wnuk, 41, while wearing a T-shirt bearing the Iranian flag, allegedly approached three men separately Friday evening and struck them while shouting anti-Jewish remarks.

The victims, ranging in age from their 20s to 40s, suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment, according to authorities.

Police took the Wnuk into custody at the scene. He faces multiple charges, including allegations tied to a hate crime, and remains due back in court.

The incident has drawn renewed attention to concerns over antisemitic violence in New York as investigators continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the attack.
