NEW POLL: Bennett-Lapid Alliance Leads With 26 Seats, Likud Trails

Apr 27, 2026·1 min read

A new Channel 12 poll shows a joint list between former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Opposition Leader Yair Lapid emerging as the largest party if elections were held today, with 26 Knesset seats.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s Likud follows closely with 25 seats, while Gadi Eisenkot’s party receives 15. Other parties include The Democrats with 10, Shas, Yisrael Beytenu, and Otzma Yehudit with 9 each, and United Torah Judaism with 7. Hadash-Ta’al and Ra’am each receive 5 seats.

Despite the new alliance, the overall political blocs remain unchanged, with Netanyahu’s right-wing bloc at 50 seats, the Zionist opposition at 60, and Arab parties holding 10.

The poll also found that if Eisenkot were to join Bennett and Lapid, their combined list would jump to 41 seats, though the broader balance between blocs would still remain the same.

A separate Channel 13 poll showed the coalition improving slightly to 57 seats, while another survey indicated a tighter race, with Likud potentially leading.
