
VIDEO: Anti-Semetic Assault Reported Near Adas Torah Synagogue in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (VINnews) – A Jewish man was assaulted late Monday night near Adas Torah Synagogue in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood of Los Angeles, prompting a response from local security and emergency services.
According to the LA Scoop, the incident occurred at approximately 10:00 PM on April 27 near the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Doheny Drive. Witnesses reported that the suspect exited a vehicle, described as a Honda Odyssey, and physically attacked the victim, throwing him to the ground before briefly returning to the vehicle.
Some witnesses claimed the assailants shouted “Free Palestine” during the attack. However, the Los Angeles Police Department has not confirmed those specific statements.
Police sources did confirm that no weapon was used in the assault. The suspect reportedly exited the vehicle a second time before fleeing the scene.
Emergency responders, including Shmira, Hatzolah, and LAPD units, arrived shortly after the incident. The victim’s condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, which is being treated as a possible hate crime.
