State Department Unveils Limited-Edition Passports Featuring President Trump for America’s 250th Anniversary
WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) – The State Department is issuing limited-edition U.S. passports this summer featuring a portrait of President Donald Trump to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary of independence.
The commemorative passports include Trump’s image on the inside cover, accompanied by text from the Declaration of Independence, American flag motifs and the president’s signature in gold. Additional pages depict the Founding Fathers signing the Declaration of Independence. The back cover shows an American flag design with “20” centered among the 13 stars of the original Betsy Ross flag.
The passports maintain all standard security features and will be available to any American citizen applying for a new passport at the Washington Passport Agency, while supplies last, according to a State Department spokesperson.
“These passports will feature customized artwork and enhanced imagery while maintaining the same security features that make the U.S. Passport the most secure document in the world,” spokesperson Tommy Pigott said.
The release is part of the Trump administration’s broader America250 celebrations leading up to July 4, 2026.
The State Department announced the designs on Tuesday. Mock-ups obtained by Fox News Digital show the new elements prominently displayed.
Standard passport application processes and fees remain unchanged. The commemorative versions are expected to be available for a limited time coinciding with the anniversary events.
