Rudy Giuliani in Critical but Stable Condition in Florida Hospital
MIAMI (VINnews) – Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani is in critical but stable condition at a Florida hospital, his spokesman said Sunday.
Spokesman Ted Goodman confirmed the 81-year-old Giuliani’s hospitalization but declined to specify the facility or the reason for his admission.

“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” Goodman said in a statement. “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak.”
Goodman asked for prayers for the former mayor, often called “America’s Mayor” for his leadership after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Details about how long Giuliani has been hospitalized or the nature of his condition were not immediately available. The story is developing.
Giuliani, a Republican who served as mayor from 1994 to 2001, has remained a prominent and often controversial figure in national politics. He was a key ally to President Donald Trump and faced legal challenges in recent years related to efforts to challenge the 2020 election results. Trump pardoned him in November 2025.
This is Giuliani’s second known hospitalization in less than a year. In August 2025, he was injured in a car crash in New Hampshire, suffering a fractured thoracic vertebra and other injuries before being released after several days.
No further updates on Giuliani’s condition were available Sunday evening.
