For The 9th Time: Terrorists Poison Water Troughs On Binyamin Farm, Sheep Begin Convulsing
Palestinian terrorists from the village of Al-Mughayyir in the Binyamin area infiltrated grazing areas of a nearby farm overnight and poisoned about 20 water troughs used by livestock.
The terrorists also broke the locks on some of the water troughs and poured in a poisonous substance mixed with oil, intended to keep the poison floating near the surface and be drawn in the first bucket of water used to feed the animals.
A shepherd from the farm who arrived in the afternoon to water his flock noticed a suspicious substance in one of the wells, prompting him to immediately stop the sheep from drinking.
A few minutes later, several sheep began to develop severe poisoning symptoms, including foaming at the mouth, and convulsing.
The shepherd summoned other residents of the farm and alerted security forces, who launched searches in the area and discovered that the other nearby wells had also been poisoned.
The shepherds tried to provide emergency veterinary treatment to the poisoned sheep while police forces collected evidence from the scene.
This is the ninth poisoning incident that has occurred over the past two years, and it constitutes part of a new and increasing terror method targeting Jewish shepherds in Yehuda and Shomron.
