Gedolei Yisroel are scheduled to travel to South America in the coming days for a special mission on behalf of Keren Olam HaTorah, with a packed itinerary planned in Brazil and Argentina.

The gedolim participating in this mission include Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a, Rav Yaakov Hillel shlit”a, Rav Shimon Galai shlit”a, Rav Avraham Salim shlit”a, and Rav Yosef Chevroni shlit”a.

The trip is set to begin on Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Behar-Bechukosai, with the delegation departing for Paris en route to South America, arriving in São Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday afternoon. They will be joined on Monday morning by Rav Malkiel Kotler shlit”a, and a group of board members from the United States.

The formal schedule is set to begin Monday morning in Brazil with Shacharis at 7:45 a.m. Later in the day, the delegation is expected to attend a private gathering with local tomchei torah before joining the broader kehilla for Mincha and Maariv at the Beis Yaakov Safra synagogue. The event is expected to include divrei chizuk and addresses from the rabbanim.
Later on, a dinner with prominent philanthropists is scheduled for Monday evening.

On Tuesday morning, the gedolim are scheduled to daven Shacharis at the Makor Chaim shul in São Paulo, followed by breakfast and departure to the airport. The rabbanim are then scheduled to fly to Argentina late Tuesday morning and arrive there in the afternoon.

Upon arrival in Argentina, an asifas chizuk is planned at Yeshivas Shuva Yisrael, followed by a central dinner for philanthropists in the Argentine kehilla.

The Argentina schedule is expected to continue Wednesday morning with Shacharis at the Yeshurun shul, along with a community reception. Later that morning, the rabbanim are scheduled to visit the Torateinu school, where approximately 2,000 children and parents are expected to take part in a major kabalas panim.

At around midday Wednesday, a special gathering of Argentine rabbanim with the Gedolei Yisroel is planned, with roughly 100 rabbanim expected to participate.

The mission will then conclude, with the delegation returning to the United States and Eretz Yisroel.
