Hamas terrorists are conducting military training in Turkey, according to Israel’s KAN News, in what marks another instance of the terrorist group’s operational footprint in the country.

The operatives, dressed in civilian clothes, regularly train at public shooting clubs on small arms and tactics, and have received official Turkish licenses to operate drones, the broadcaster reported Thursday. Israeli officials say the training is designed to prepare fighters before they’re deployed to Lebanon, Jordan, and the West Bank for future operations against Israel.

The revelation adds to a pattern of Hamas activity in Turkey. Last December, Israel’s military and security services exposed a money laundering network run by Hamas in the country, financed by Iran. According to the IDF, Gazans based in Turkey manage the operation through local financial institutions, moving hundreds of millions of dollars connected to senior Iranian officials and Hamas leadership.

The disclosed network represents one of the most significant examples of Iran-Hamas coordination in recent months, underscoring Tehran’s continued financial support for the militant group despite Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
