JERUSALEM (VINnews) – Israeli officials confirmed Monday that Tyler Oliveira was denied entry into Israel over alleged antisemitic content and incitement against Jews and the Jewish state.

Officials said Oliveira was stopped during questioning at Ben Gurion Airport after arriving in the country and was refused entry following a recommendation by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism.

Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli said Oliveira was barred from entering Israel over content authorities described as antisemitic and inflammatory.

“The celebration is over. Anyone who comes here with the goal of spreading hatred will be sent back the way they came,” Chikli said in a statement released by the ministry.

The ministry said Oliveira’s content included statements and videos that “go beyond legitimate freedom of expression” and accused him of spreading antisemitic rhetoric and incitement against Jews and Israel.

According to the ministry, officials had received advance information that Oliveira planned to enter Israel and recommended that immigration authorities deny him entry under provisions of Israel’s Entry Law.

The ministry cited several videos and interviews published on Oliveira’s platforms in recent months, including comments authorities said portrayed Jews as manipulative, racist and politically influential through improper means.

Israeli officials also referenced videos focused on Orthodox Jewish communities in the United States, including content involving Kiryas Joel and communities in New Jersey.

The ministry said Oliveira is expected to be returned to the United States.
