New security upgrades were installed at the Vishnitz cheider on 230 Maple Avenue in Monsey, adding surveillance cameras and additional security enhancements around the building, including new security gates and access control systems.

New cameras were mounted both inside and outside the cheider, along with additional security equipment and electrical gates around the building.

The upgrades were funded through available state security grants aimed at helping schools, shuls, and community institutions strengthen safety and emergency preparedness measures.

This comes after the Community Security Initiative training held yesterday at the Vishnitz cheider, where security discussions were part of the broader effort connected to security planning and helping mosdos navigate available grant opportunities for security improvements.
