More than 5,000 mispallelim entered Kever Yosef in Shechem overnight in organized bus convoys, where a massive minyan for Shacharis took place early in the morning.
During the visit, Bezalel Smotrich called for a permanent Jewish presence to return to the site.
Meanwhile, Tzvi Succot held a chalaka for his son at Kever Yosef. Succot is the grandson of HaRav Hillel Lieberman Hy”d, who was murdered while making his way to Kever Yosef following the site’s abandonment during the early years of the Second Intifada.
Yossi Dagan said, “The path to victory in the war is a full return to the tziyun of Yosef Hatzaddik,” and thanked Defense Minister Israel Katz for approving daytime tefillos at Kever Yosef.
