HaTzaddik HaRav Dov Kook was rushed to Poriya Medical Center in Tiveria on Wednesday after a serious deterioration in his medical condition.

The Rav is suffering from pneumonia and is currently sedated and on a ventilator at the hospital.

One of the Rav’s close talmidim, Rabbi Yekutiel Ohev Zion, issued an emotional plea to the public to daven for him.

“Rav Kook is very ill. He has no teeth from years of fasting. The Rav was taken to the hospital—he is suffering and in pain. Please daven for him,” he said.

The public is asked to daven for the refuah sheleimah of Rebbe Dov HaKohen ben Shoshanah b’toch sha’ar cholei Yisrael.
