IDF Troops Dismantle Hezbollah Anti-Tank Weapons Facility in Southern Lebanon
JERUSALEM (VINnews) – Israeli troops from the IDF’s 769th Brigade dismantled a Hezbollah anti-tank weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon with Israeli Air Force assistance, the military said Monday.
Operating under the command of the 91st Division south of the Forward Defense Line, forces continued efforts to neutralize threats to Israeli civilians, according to the IDF. The troops located and destroyed terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
In a separate operation near Al-Khiyam, soldiers dismantled additional weapons storage facilities and hideouts used by Hezbollah. They discovered anti-tank launchers, explosive devices and small arms during the raid.
The developments come as Israel presses its campaign against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon to push the Iran-backed group back from the border and secure northern Israeli communities.
Separately, an Israeli airstrike in eastern Lebanon killed a senior commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group, Israeli officials confirmed.

The operations underscore ongoing Israeli efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s military capabilities following months of cross-border attacks that intensified after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas assault
