Residents across Rockland County are invited to Bowline Point Park on Wednesday, July 1, for the annual Haverstraw Fireworks Show, one of the area's first major Independence Day celebrations.

Festivities will begin in the evening, with the fireworks display scheduled to start at approximately 9:30 p.m. over the Hudson River.

The event will take place at Bowline Point Park, located at 100 Bowline Road, West Haverstraw. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, as large crowds and heavy traffic are expected.

In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks show will be postponed to Thursday, July 2.

The annual display is expected to draw families and visitors from throughout Rockland and the surrounding region for an evening of patriotic celebration leading up to the Fourth of July weekend.
