Bichasdei Hashem, Hagaon HaRav Avraham Yehoshua Soloveitchik, Rosh Yeshivas Brisk, was released from the hospital on Tuesday after approximately two weeks of hospitalization following heart surgery.

His discharge comes after a dramatic turn in his recovery. Rav Soloveitchik had been preparing to leave the hospital last week when his condition suddenly worsened, forcing doctors to transfer him back to the intensive care unit for additional treatment and close monitoring.

Following several more days of care, doctors determined that his condition had improved sufficiently to allow him to return home. Although he has been discharged, Rav Soloveitchik remains weak and continues his recovery.

The tzibbur is urged to continue davening for his complete recovery. His name for Tehillim is Avraham Yehoshua ben Ettil.
