REPORT: Israel Ready To Join U.S. Strikes On Iran If Trump Gives Green Light
Israel is prepared to join renewed U.S. military strikes against Iran if President Donald Trump approves, according to multiple media reports citing Israeli sources.
Kan News reported that some officials in Jerusalem favor rejoining the campaign against Iran and are awaiting a green light from the White House. The report also said Israeli officials believe the current exchange of attacks between the United States and Iran is likely to continue for several more days.
Similarly, the New York Post, citing a source in Jerusalem, reported that Israel is interested in participating in future strikes and fully resuming military operations against the Islamic Republic.
“We’re willing to do it again, if needed,” the unnamed source told the newspaper.
The source acknowledged that Israel is “not eager to go back to the day when people have to go to shelters,” but added that the country cannot “ignore what’s happening in Iran.”
“So if that will be the price we’ll have to pay, we will bear with that situation,” the source said.
