How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account in two ways:

Option 1: Through the App or Website

1. Go to the Delete Account page (you will be asked to sign in if needed)
2. Confirm the deletion by typing "DELETE"
3. Your account will be immediately deleted

Option 2: Contact Us

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by emailing us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

What Data is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• Your profile picture
• Your active sessions (you will be signed out everywhere)
• Your bookmarked articles
• Your organization follows

What Data is Retained

For operational and analytical purposes, we retain certain anonymous aggregate data:

• Anonymous aggregate statistics: Article view counts and share statistics that cannot be linked back to you

This retained data is fully anonymous and cannot be used to identify you after account deletion.

Data Retention Period

Account deletion is processed immediately. Anonymous aggregate data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.
