About Jooish
Jooish is a free app that brings Jewish and Israel news Sites, Groups, Status updates and Podcasts into one place, on iOS, Android and the web.
Why we built Jooish
Apple News and Google News made it easy to follow the news in one place, but nothing like them existed for Jewish news. Keeping up meant visiting one site after another, so we built Jooish in 2017 to put the Jewish Sites people read into a single feed.
Much of the community's news and updates also moved into WhatsApp groups and statuses. WhatsApp is great for messaging, but news and announcements get squished in between personal chats there. This kind of content deserves an app built for it, so Jooish gives Groups and Status feeds a dedicated home alongside the news.
What Jooish does

Articles from 25+ Jewish and Israel news Sites, including Yeshiva World News, Matzav and Vos Iz Neias, in a single feed. Follow the Sites you like and your feed shows what they publish.
Groups
50+ community and news Groups, many of them mirrored from the WhatsApp groups people already follow. Every message can be read on the web or in the app, searched and shared with a link.
Status
Photo and video updates from 80+ Status feeds, shown at the top of the app for the day. Follow a feed and you are notified when it posts.
Podcasts
25+ Jewish Podcasts with their full episode archives. Playback picks up where you left off, on your phone or on the web.

Yes. Every Site, Group, Status feed and Podcast on Jooish is free, with no subscription or paid tier.
Where does the news on Jooish come from?
From the Jewish and Israel publishers themselves. Jooish shows their headlines and links back to the original Site, so the publisher gets the credit and the visit.
Do I need WhatsApp to read Groups and Status updates?
No. Groups and Status feeds mirrored from WhatsApp can be read right in Jooish, without joining the group or sharing your phone number.
Can I add my Site, Group, Status feed or Podcast?
Yes. Suggest it from the publish page and we will review it. Publishers can also post to their own Group or Status feed directly.
What devices does Jooish work on?
iPhone, Android and any web browser. When you sign in, your follows and podcast progress stay in sync between them.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and choose Delete Account, or email [email protected] from the address on your account.
