Prime Minister Netanyahu called October 7 “the darkest day in Israel’s history,” recalling that there were no Israeli soldiers or civilians in Gaza at the time. He said Hamas nevertheless carried out “the largest massacre since the Holocaust,” murdering even Israelis who had helped Gazans cross the border for work. “On that darkest day, our enemies expected us to collapse. But we didn’t collapse. Instead, we rose and fought like lions,” Netanyahu said. “For the past three years, our soldiers have fought day after day in a seven-front war. Netanyahu: “Remember the pagers? (Netanyahu holds up a pager) Hezbollah certainly remembers.”

Netanyahu: “The global media doesn’t cover terrorism against Jews in Judea and Samaria. They only talk about a tiny handful of Jews, whose actions I of course do not accept. But they are a handful. Sometimes they burn olive trees. We send our Shin Bet after them and deal with them.” Netanyahu called the focus on violence by Israelis in Judea and Samaria an “obsession” and a “distortion,” telling world leaders: “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Netanyahu, mentioning Neria Leiter: “Yechiel, your pain is our pain. Despite the pain, we will not surrender.”

Netanyahu: “Do you know what just one one-ton ballistic missile would do if it hit this place? It would obliterate the entire compound. In fact, two such missiles would obliterate the UN.”

Netanyahu: “There’s an eighth front to this war. It’s the war for truth.” He accused Qatar of spending billions to spread anti-Israel messaging through universities and media outlets, saying its goal was to “brainwash young minds to hate Israel, hate America, hate the West.” Netanyahu then turned to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan: “Erdogan is a tyrant.” He accused Erdogan of jailing journalists and opposition leaders and calling for Israel’s destruction, adding: “He says he’s going to be the ruler of Jerusalem. No, sir, you won’t. This is our country, our city, our eternal capital.”

Netanyahu on Gaza: “While Hamas did everything possible to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way, often at gunpoint, Israel did everything possible to get them out of harm’s way. We sent millions of text messages warning civilians to leave combat areas. We made millions of phone calls. We dropped millions of leaflets.”

Netanyahu to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani: “You tried to stop me from coming here. You tried to silence me? Well, you can’t silence me. You can’t silence the truth.” Netanyahu accused Mamdani of associations with people who have praised Hamas or made anti-American and anti-Israel statements, and said many New York Jews have told him they no longer feel safe in the city.

Netanyahu: “Jews around the world, hold your heads high. To everyone else, join us in standing up to the barbarians who threaten civilization.”

Netanyahu held up a Starlink terminal at the UN, saying Iran’s regime fears the device because it allows its people to access information and communicate freely. “I’m going to leave this device with you so you can give it to the Iranian delegation. So, when they inevitably defect, they too will be able to freely tell their story on social media.” Turning to Iran’s future, Netanyahu declared: “The power of the people will overcome the people in power... 💔HY”D: The IDF has cleared for publication the names of two soldiers who were killed Thursday in an operational accident in the northern Gaza Strip: Master Sgt. (Res.) Nadav Kali, 24, of Har Halutz, and Master Sgt. (Res.) Ofek Moalem, 23, of Yerushalayim. Both served in the 7007th Battalion of the 16th Brigade. The soldiers were operating drones from an IDF position near Beit Hanoun. After the first drone was successfully launched and reached its destination, a second drone crashed inside the position. The soldiers approached it, and for reasons still under investigation, the drone exploded, killing both soldiers.

TRAGEDY: Daniel Umansky, a 14-year-old Israeli boy, was killed Friday morning when a Russian drone struck his family’s home in the Pechersk district of central Kyiv. His mother was wounded and taken for medical treatment. Daniel held Israeli citizenship. His family had previously made aliyah to Israel and returned to Ukraine about 20 years ago. Israel’s consul in Kyiv, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, and Chabad shluchim are assisting the family.
