Then, the ostensible reason for the meeting was the plight of frum inmates. • For this forthcoming meeting, it is unclear which room the rebbes will meet Trump, how many gabbaim will be allowed to attend, how long it will last and whether there be one-on-ones. The Satmar rebbe, Rav Aharon, has already said that he intends to bring up with Trump the issue of Israel’s arresting bnei Torah.
