Officials say the erosion is the worst the city has seen since Hurricane Sandy. The hardest-hit area is roughly a half-mile stretch north of Steel Pier, including sections near Hard Rock and Ocean. Some spots now have 10- to 12-foot sand cliffs. Atlantic City is open and the Boardwalk itself was not damaged.
