I was inflight when I saw your message to the group, I had gotten access but hadnt tried it yet. The first thing I asked it to do was push united for a travel credit because the flight had been very delayed. it got me 100 bucks per person, for 3 people. It then canceled a bunch of unused subsciptions and got me discounts through retention on a few others It also noticed that I was eligible for a 1% interest rate reduction on my student loans if I switched to autopay, and I had it do that as well.
5:37 PMAnother very cool use case, I get a mental block lots of times when it comes to donate to charidy links etc I gave it my donors fund card, and when I send it a link it handles the donation for me
5:37 PMIs this all real
5:37 PM100%
5:37 PMI have used openclaw for months, it does not come close
5:37 PMNot sure why this is so much better, but it just works
5:37 PM
This is from a friend on Instinct.co 1) Yes, many arenāt using because of security concerns. 2) No, I donāt have any extra invites. 3) Waitlist this week has been a day or so.
5:38 PMWhen I saw this message, I asked Instinct to look into my Verizon account. Found out my photos were backing up to both Google AND Verizon Cloud - paying twice for the same thing. And it dug up a phone line on my plan that I've been paying $30/month for that's been completely dead - no calls, no texts, no data - and I have no idea whose number it even is.

Welcome to all new members. Over the past week, hundreds of people have been signing up for AI assistants named Instinct.co or 19Pine.ai
1:33 AM
Whatās the difference? Instinct (instinct.co) is a general personal assistant. It's invite-only, from Spear Street Technology, and you interact with it by text or phone call. It uses your connected accounts, stored credentials, and its own cloud computer to actually complete tasks instead of just telling you how. Founder is Noah Shinn, formerly of Sierra. The company just raised $250M in a Series B co-led by Index and Benchmark, putting total funding at $350M and valuation at $2.5B. Users have it booking appointments, buying groceries, planning trips. Still in private beta, and it's drawn criticism over how broad the permissions are. Pine (19pine.ai) is narrow and focused on consumer advocacy. It's an agent that contacts businesses for you to resolve billing problems, disputes, cancellations, reservations, and applications. It makes calls, sends emails, negotiates bills, cancels subscriptions, deals with customer service, and files refunds. The core mechanic is voice: it phones the company and argues on your behalf. It's publicly available on the App Store and Google Play as a paid subscription, and the company is much smaller. Co-founder and CTO is Vincent Sun, formerly VP of Engineering at Agora.io.
1:33 AMBecause Instinct is currently invite-only, people have been having success asking ChatGPT to find them an invite-only code. Instinct is also free for now, but has faced security concerns given how new it is, how unknown it is and how broad its terms are.
1:34 AM
Pine AI, which costs money after using any free credits, will literally call companies for you, fight bills, file complaints and has saved people lots of money. Hereās an invite-link: https://www.19pine.ai/app/?ic=61e7968aaac756c28e423cb881564cc24e6903a9b9f7598286e8983eedf205e8

3:00 PM
Instinct.co, free for now. You can ask ChatGPT for an invite link.
3:04 PMi just got onto instinct but it says it cant make phone calls
3:04 PMi wanted it to close a credit card account for me
3:04 PM

3:04 PMWhy is it better than Claude cowork. Not seeing the hype.
3:08 PMI used Pine to call Republic Services (garbage collection company) to negotiate a credit as I recently noticed I've been paying for 3 bins for a few years now but only ever had 2. After an hour call (and 2000 credits), it was unable to get me any retroactive credits. Then, this morning Republic showed up to pick up one of my two bins as it understood to remove one bin from my account vs asking for a credit for the third bin I never had so now have to deal with getting it back so your results may vary...
3:09 PMI sent a voice note over to instinct this morning Detailing my schedule for the day and what I have to get done. It reminded me that I also wanted to go to Chasdei Lev with my son after school. Another great thing I do with it is I forward all invitations. I get to it without any instructions. It then automatically reminds me that morning, and the time of the event.
3:16 PMGood morning, if you wanted to make the phone calls yourself to lower bills, Iāve asked ChatGPT for the script and what to ask for with that specific company and it gives you an extensive script on what to ask. It was successful on 3 bills for me. I also asked chat gpt which bills pine AI has the highest success rate with
3:17 PMThank you for this! Instict realized I do not use nearly as much data on 2 of our 3 lines as I am paying for and was able to shave $45 a month off of our bill (I had to call myself) but they gave ne the language to use, the plan to get, and what to say when I call
3:19 PMHow are you? I see a lot of instinct talk on the chat, and I know there was one conversation about security already⦠that being said the oilam should be reminded that giving an agent the power to 1. Intake outside information 2. ā Access personal information 3. ā Ability to act autonomously on your behalf. Does pose risk.
3:47 PMI had instinct go through my Amazon account and any order in the last 90 days that the price dropped they got me back the price difference. $117 so far with another $382 in the works. I told it only do 2 a day as amazon can shut down an account for doing to much. I also sent a picture of a return I wanted to make and it emailed me the return label. Returns just got even easier. Another use I used it for and love I sent it my Walmart grocery list and told it to add all items to my cart based on my previous order history so same brands I like get added to the cart.
3:49 PMWhat Instinct's done for me so far: ⢠SodaStream: 4 defective CO2 cylinders - ran the whole support chat strategy line by line, got a FULL $64.98 refund confirmed same day, then pushed for goodwill and got offered 15% off their new $199 Fountain on top. ⢠One-evening claims sweep: filed warranty/goodwill claims on 6 products for me - Lodge dutch oven, OXO pan, Caraway pan, Qualiazero trash can, On running shoes, Alo pullover. Emails drafted, forms filled, support chased. ⢠Wrangler lease: caught that the dealer's $551/mo quote was inflated and built the counter toward $385/mo - negotiation in play with 3 dealers. ⢠Money on deck: lining up my Delta credits + companion cert before they expire, and cashing out my $300 Venture X credit before closing the card. ⢠Reviewing my auto + renters insurance for overpaying. Basically: it fights my customer service battles, negotiates, and watches my money. The refund alone paid for itself in my head. My Instinct summary from the past 24 hours šš». It's truly a personal assistant. I find it best for those little things that is not worth your time, but instinct makes chasing them finally worth it. Couple sif texts and done!
3:51 PMI used it to go thru Amazon and check that all returns were refunded correctly. Found some mistakes and took care of it with CS on its own to get me refunded
3:51 PMMy Google storage was full Instinct went thru my storage, drive, emails and photos and ran by me all the things to delete and then did it It even created pdfs for me of a bunch of blurry pics, screenshots, video thumbnails so I can quickly glance at it and approve I also got it to create YouTube channel and upload large videos from google photos to there Yea, definitely very invasive but each to their own For now Iām good with it Thx
5:13 PMEli, Was wondering if you have any financial involvement with Instinct or Pine in any way, or are these purely recommendations? Thanks, Tzvi Gross
5:37 PMNone. So much so that up until today I havenāt even been sharing my own Pine referral link.
5:37 PMFor the newer members of these groups, this isnāt just an Instinct/Pine fan club, lol. These are just tools that most people have found extremely useful these past couple of weeks. More content about other AI tools to come!
5:37 PMHow do we know that you are not Pine or Instinct replying on behalf of Eli.... or are you? š¤Øš
5:39 PMI only connected my iMessage. Less distracting since no one texts me there. (Donāt start!) Also a few people have run into WhatsApp-related blocks, Iām seeing, so Iād recommend not connecting Instinct to WhatsApp, if you havenāt yet. ⢠sent via the actual me (promise)
5:39 PMi created a new gmail account, connected it to instinct, and then i went to my regular email account. i forwarded all my internet bills, all my electricity, cell phones, and anything i felt that instinct might be able to help me with as a test to my new email address. this way i'm not risking my private information to instinct (like full access to my email and google drive and so on). i'm keeping it to the minimum and so far i'm getting great help from instinct without risking my data.

What if we told you the difference between those who get the most out of AI and those who donāt was HOW TO POWERFULLY PROMPT AI? This video teaches you powerful prompting: maigrate.com/learn Youāll also get access to 13 other sessions from The Practical AI Conference. Tools, workflows, skills, it's all in there. š
9:33 PMIām building a super complex software that canāt go live unless there is super thorough testing I had people test it but wasnāt enough I told instinct to create an account and go through every single aspect and every button add users at every single role and go through each permission to make sure it fires properly Itās beyond crazy how much help Iām getting Itās replying with screenshots and comments from its own browser window
3:09 AMMy kids' school bus uses a system where we need to call in and give the route number to an automated system to get an update on where the bus is, which is really annoying because we would call it every few minutes. I asked Pine to do it and automatically schedule multiple follow-up calls so I can get live updates every few minutes on where the bus is, so my kids can stay inside and don't have to wait outside for a long time. First use of Pine and it's awesome!
