LOWER BROUGHTON: A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man in his 30s was found dead at a house on Kempster Gardens, off camp Street.Gabriel Joao Gurney Sacutti, of Coalville, Leicestershire, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court.

Hamza Iqbal, Saif Ali, Rehan Khan and Judex Atshatshi — the four men who pleaded guilty to setting fire to four Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green — have admitted their involvement in the arson attack.The attack caused significant damage to the emergency vehicles, which are used by Hatzola volunteers to respond to medical emergencies and help save lives in the local community.

SALFORD: Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died following a fall from a balcony at flats on Liverpool Street in Salford.Police were called shortly after midnight on Saturday, and the man died later that night. The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to earlier police contact with those involved.

PM Andy Burnham says PC Andrew Harper’s killers will remain in prison under changes to the early release scheme. Anyone convicted of unlawful killing, including manslaughter, will now be excluded following a campaign by PC Harper’s family and colleagues.
